Upgraded acts as a link between clients and consultants. Consultants register on Upgraded.se and can search for published assignments on our website. We help both suppliers and consultants find their next assignment, and our clients find the right resource to staff their consulting needs.
To access our missions, you can register for our partner mailings. Once you find an assignment that fits your profile, apply via our website. You can also send an expression of interest or your CV to info@upgraded.se, describing your skills, experience and availability. If you are matched with an assignment, you will be connected to a consultant intermediary who will be your contact throughout the process.
As one of Sweden’s leading consulting agencies, we offer assignments mainly in IT, but we also mediate assignments in technology, management and in the service sector. Our assignments are of varying scope and length based on customer needs and we mediate hybrid, remote and on-site assignments. The terms and conditions are clearly stated in our adverts and are important parameters to consider when looking for your next assignment.
An estimated 80% of our assignments are in IT. Common roles include: Developer, Tester, Requirements Analyst, IT Support, Project Manager, Scrum Master and Agile Coach. We also offer assignments in technology, management and the service sector
A careful reading of our job descriptions and calls for tender will reveal what is required of you or your team. It is important that your experience and expertise match the area of work required. In some cases, you will need to provide references from previous assignments to be approved.
As a consultant, you invoice Upgraded. Before you sign an assignment contract, you and the consultant agency agree on your fee.
At Upgraded, matching is usually fast, sometimes within hours. Because we work with both the public and private sectors, the requirements differ. The private sector often fills assignments on an ongoing basis, while the public sector often has fixed call-off dates.
To work with Upgraded, you must have your own business, either a sole trader or a limited company. We do not employ any consultants. If you have recently started your own business, we can guide you. All our assignments are published on our website, allowing you to plan while you start your business.
Upgraded checks several factors when matching consultants such as skills, experience, references and personal characteristics. We also ensure that the consultant fulfils the client’s specific conditions.
As part of our consultancy process, Upgraded’s consultants make a selection based on which candidates are best suited and competent for a specific assignment. This means that the client gets the most suitable profile, both in terms of skills and personality.

Yes, we handle both short and long-term assignments. Many of our clients often extend their consulting contracts after a successful assignment.
